My account and Porting Issues

Hello,

 

I have just ported my number from rogers to pm, but I can only make outgoing calls and texting and using data, can't receive incoming calls.

 

Also, I can't log in into my account, which I just created my account last night.

 

Please look into these issues.

it's day 4 here, still waiting for porting to be completed.

To those waiting for a port to resolve...

You can provide more details about your issues and allow the community an opportunity to help. I realize for some of you, unfortunately that's not going to work, but for those of you who haven't provided any details, please do.

 

Please don't tack your message onto this post!

Instead, choose a category like Discussions or Getting Started and click the Screen Shot 2016-11-06 at 10.42.36 AM.pngbutton. 

 

This way, your request gets maximum exposure. The moderators will get to your requests, but in the interim let the community take a go at helping.

Almost 24 hours for me. Port-in stuck.

 

Would be nice to get an acknowledgement that someone is or will look at this...

Iv also been waiting 6 days, no communication from public mobile what so ever. It's pretty ridiculous.

I still can't recieve calls and some txt from porting my number I've registered 6days ago still nothing.

Yes he is corrrect. Until you receive that message some things may work and others wont. But after you receive it, everything should work perfect.

So I guess until you get that message your port is in progress.  Hope it gets to you soon.

I just brought to lines over from Rogers over the last two days. Have you received the message saying porting was complete?  Until you get that message you may only have some features switched I was able to text one of my numbers but calling it went to the old phone from Rogers.  We got the text saying ti was complete a bit later and all is working great.  I must say I did have some fears especially after reading some posts here but we must be patient they probably have so many new customers coming online with this great promo they are running

 

Plus I would only tag one mod as it goes to a que that they all see. *read this in a post that is how they want it done*

The symptoms you're describing are normal. The port isn't 100% completed yet. Unfortunately, the only thing you can do is wait. There's nothing more the moderators can do at this time.

 

I should also mention that not being able to access your account can also happen, as technically your service isn't quite yet with PM.
