My Imessage isnt the same as my number.

Depending on who I text on my Iphone 12, it might show my email (icloud) or my number. Whys that?

Go to Settings>iMessages>Send & Receive and you can choose by clicking between email or number or both …you preference.

start with Reset Network Settings and it might update with the correct number

if not, go to iMessage settings to remove the phone number, reboot phone and then re-enter the number to register iMessage again
