3G is used for talk and text at Public Mobile. If your device has the right 3G access frequencies, your phone will work.

I mean not having data plan is OK with me.
Even a phone/tablet/phablet is incompatible with Public Mobile, it can still be used for internet usage by connecting to Wi-Fi.

0The last time ive bought a cell phone with 8 gig , all the update from factory apps itself was eating it.
That so sad, I could deal with 16gb but surely Will had the biggest sd card I can.
Know another one or im stuck?
Also if I could say this one would work for wifi text and phone cause he has 4g lte. Or its wont cause he only have 3G: WCDMA ?

If you do want a phablet that's $109.99 Blu has the Advance A7. Though only 8GB storage it's has a 7 inch screen. It's not the latest version of Android as it's running 7.0 My mom usues it on Public Mobile and loves it.
It's good if your going to browse the web and use talk/text. If your not heavy on apps it's perfect since low storage. You can expand storage with Micro SD. I been a Blu user for years and love them. Never used their Phablet but know people who have and stick with them.
If LTE matters to you then it's not the device for you. It only connects to 3G data

Is this a device that you already have?
I guess you could use it as a phone, the only issue I can see would be the size of the device. As someone said, the spes from Amazon do say 850 and 1900MHz WCDMA, meaning it should work for Public Mobile, but it bothers me as well (as pointed out earlier) that it says no A&T and T-Mobile. You would have to ask yourself why that is.
So if you don't already have it, I would avoid this phablet. Not only is it very big, size-wise for a phone, but the specifications/details provided in the ad seem contradictory to me.

It should work but not sure about when traveling to US. At&t and T-Mobile apparently not supported

If 3G band only, it will work on text talk.

The only bands that the device supports is 850/1900 which means it will only support 3G.
Doesn't seem like it will support 4G LTE. I looked at their discripton on Amazon, says won't support AT&T or T-Mobile SIM. So don't know if that means it would support a Public Mobile SIM.

Public Mobile works on following frequencies: For 3G use (UMTS/HSPA): 850MHz/1900MHz bands. For 4G/LTE use: 1700MHz/2100MHz bands. For 4G/LTE use: 700 MHz band.
You can have a look at this site for more information about that https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/Getting-Started/How-do-I-know-if-my-phone-will-work-o...
