Now being aware of the 3G shutdown in manitoba by texts fom public mobile last month or so (which is happening all across canada BTW), i switched my phone to one that is capable of the Volte and 5g data that my company provided. Seems like there is some big push to get people off public and on to telus network as me and my friends who use public are being called to switch constantly, even texted from public mobile as well. The telemarketer i talked too claimed my phone wouldn't work and i needed a new simcard, but when entering my imei # in this site here says I am all good to go (https://www.publicmobile.ca/en/get-help/articles/volte). Why all the need for the dishonesty? Telus owns public mobile already if I'm not correct. Not understanding why public mobile is trying to offload its customers to telus. Maybe a sign of things to come?

LG Velvet 5G won't work with PM's VoLTE but A16 5G is whitelisted with PM's VoLTE

Ya you are probably right about that. I had an LG Velvet 5G before but now have a more recent Samsung Galaxy A16 5G that work gave me.

Telus marketing staff are sales, they only care about their sales quota and commission, they don't care PM even PM is part of Telus
