Just went on PM last night via walmart. have tried restarting phone, reinstalling sim card, resetting network. airplane mode on/off/. data on/off. No success. on 4gb plan. Frustrating! texting/calls work perfect. If I factory reset, will my contacts still be in icloud to reload? Last resort. Dont want to do that. Ano other sggestions?

I'm new to the community so forgive me if I am not following the protocol exactly by jumping in on this conversation. I have the exact same problem with my iphoneSE data not working. There isn't the option in settings to reset anything other than the APN number and that didn't solve the problem for me. And I went on the unlockit website suggested and did what it said but no change.
When I look under settings - general- about - it still lists my carrier as Rogers even though I had my phone unlocked from Rogers and calling and texting worked immediately after I changed my SIM card and ported my number over from Rogers.
Suggestions anyone on how to get my data working?

There is no contact number. Have you sent a private message to Moderator_Team?

I can see not having a contact # and a phone center but how does one have someone from PM contact them to help fix this issue? Or are you just expected to pay for a data plan that doesn't work?

Also tried reset with my settings saved in icloud and it was not successful.

@4344 You can log in to your iCloud turn on back up or you can plug your phone to laptop/computer & back up your phone. After all, you can restore your iPhone via iTunes to latest firmware. Hope that helps

LTE did appear originally on top of iphone screen. Does not light up even though it is enabled. APN setting is isp.mb.com also tried sp.mb.com It didnt make any difference.

Not suggest you to reset factory setting. Contact @CS_Agent and ask them to help with this issue.

Hi @4344, does the LTE symbol appear at the top of your phone when you turn on cellular data? You may also want to check to make sure your apn settings are correct:
https://apn-canada.gishan.net/
Go to the website above, select Public Mobile as the carrier and your specific phone model and it will tell you the settings it needs to be set to.
Regarding your contacts... if your contacts are stored on icloud, you will be fine if you do a factory reset. Make sure your contacts are on icloud by going into your icloud settings and making sure 'contacts' is toggled on.
