you can easily check if your Koodo account is Prepaid or Postpaid. First, login Koodo Selfserve
If you have Koodo Prepaid, the top banner will show “Koodo Prepaid Self Serve”, or you if you see options like Top-Up, Base Plan Renewal, Prepaid Add-ons, and there should NOT bill a Billing tab.
Or check your plan description, it might said something like “Prepaid Base Plans”
On the other hand, if you have Koodo Postpaid, you should see Billing, Tab Balance, Change Plan, Add-ons, etc. And the plan type will called “Monthly” or “Pick‑Your‑Perk” plans and you will see monthly bill.
Again, if you have a Koodo Prepaid service, you will have to activate with a new number first and request porting with help from PM support AFTER the activation is fully completed.

If you are porting in from Koodo prepaid, you have to activate with a new number first. Once activation completed and you can make calls and recieve calls, then you will need to open ticket with PM support for a manual porting request.
if you are NOT porting in from Koodo prepaid but was re-attempting the activation a second time, you will have to open tickte with PM support and have them to clear up the earlier activation attempt.
