You can get the apk for Google Play Store via this article, which links to an XDA posting with links to most recent APK:

hi !
we have the similar users so i want to share my idea. for you solution, i suggest that you should buy a new phone!
haha. just kidding!
you can try this way, it takes more time than download from google play on phone but it is the best way for you. you can redownload google play or download apk files for pc and then transfer these files to install apps. some site such as google play or this site: http://choilieng.com. you come to download and then transfer these files to your phones to installs apps. i download many apk files successfully such as v380, fake gps, etc. Good luck!

Hi @janez, welcome to the public mobile community! I agree with the previous responders that indicated you would not normally be able to actually remove the Play Store from most Android phones. The exception might be if the phone did not originally come with the Google suite of apps, perhaps a phone from an overseas unlicensed Android manufacturer? Please check in the App Drawers as suggested and let us know if it's still there. If not, could you also let us know what make and model your phone is, and if you know it, what version of Android you are running, and what app launcher (home screen) you are running? (If you don't know, that's fine it's probably whatever came on your phone--but you can install custom launchers so just checking.)

Agreed with the two posts above. Unless you have rooted your phone, you would only be able to disable the playstore (if even that), and you have to dig quite a bit to get there. You probably got rid of the shortcut. But you might be able to use the web version to get something to sync on your phone.

You probably just deleted the shortcut. Go to the app drawer (center circle with 6 dots) and play store should be in there

Use google play website to download apps? https://play.google.com/store?hl=en
Also, that's weird that you were able to delete. You are not supposed to delete it
