It should take only "a few hours" for mobile numbers, but may take 2 business days for landline numbers.

It can take considerably longer than 6 hours! It took a little over two business days for my parent's port to go through. They were coming off a landline. Started on Friday evening, finished Wednesday. It could be the old carrier being slow to release the number.

While you are waiting for moderator, you can continue to use your old SIM card until it is complete dead which is the indication of you number is completely ported to PM.

It can take up to about 6hrs for a port to complete.  If it has been longer than that, you should contact the Moderator Team for them to look into it for you.
