PM sent me a text to say I am roaming in USA when in fact I am sitting in my living room on Galiano Island.

@LinZil - try turning your roaming setting off on your device.
If you are ever travelling to the USA, just remember to turn it back on.
There will be no overage charges for anything. If you do not buy it first, you will not have the service.

There has been a report and notice that PM service is not available so your phone will pickup the stronger signal in your area which is roaming to a US carrier if you don't have wifi available. It should go back to normal soon...keep your fingers crossed.

This means that your phone really was roaming and was connected to a tower in the US. You could manually set your phone to only use the Public Mobile network.
