I don't receive certain calls, just voicemails and texts

It has been quite a while now that I don't receive certain calls. I get voicemails, but the call would not show up among my missed calls. I can also get texts. I thought it was my phone, so I switched to another provider while I was on vacation, and had no issues at all. What is going on and how to fix this?

This was the original list.  Any phone older than that won't have VoLTE with PM.  Phones on this list or the newer generation of the same line will work

Hello @DGr 

Sometimes when you switch to a different provider while you're out of the calling area of Public Mobile, it can change the network settings on your phone. Simple fix. Go into your settings, reset Network Settings and turn off your phone for a minute and then boot it back up. This will force your phone to reconnect to the Public Mobile network. Give that a try. 

In case that doesn't work, sometimes software updates can change certain settings by itself. Check to see if you have "block unknown numbers" checked off in your settings. This can cause blocked numbers to go straight to voicemail and also, unknown numbers calling you not on your contact list can go straight to voicemail.

What phone do you have? Try changing the network mode to 3G and see if voice calls are more stable or worse.  It could be an 3Gbor lack of VoLTE issue 

And try your sim on another phone

It could be your phone. What type of phone do you have?

Public Mobile requires that your phone be on their list of approved list. If its not, you will experience  drop calls, bad reception and no calls. 

They are making changes to the 3G system so you need a phone that is VoLTE approved and on their list. It might work at another provider for now, but when they completely do away with 3G in the future it won't work.
