I cannot make or receive calls

I traveled to Toronto last week and turned airplane mode on. I cannot receive or make phone calls after came back with airplane mode off. I can send and receive text without any problem. 

Please advise.

Problem finally resolved by "reset network settings". I tried to reset a few times yesterday and it did not work. It worked today.

The text messages you are sending and receiving are they imessages (blue, iPhone)? That happened to me before, the SIM card had died, it was brand new. I activated an esim, and everything worked fine after that. Hope this helps!

plans now are national Wide, you don't need to turn Airplane mode

make sure no other sim card or eSIM other than PM's, the click Reset Network Settings 

or if that still not connecting, ask PM.  Since you cannot properly login, you won't be able to open the preferred Chatbot ticket.  So, you will need to message them here:
