Hi! I purchased my SIM card and paid for my monthly plan in store. However, when I came home to activate my plan I got this error message and I get NO SERVICE it’s an iPhone 6S

I think I would be looking at the network settings. Maybe it's on manual connect to Virgin. Maybe you need to set it to auto or let it find Public Mobile (PM).
But did you port the number or are you just trying out PM for now? Does your prior SIM still work?

Was the other network Telus?
I'll leave Apple stuff to Apple folks. I seem to recall seeing something about maybe resetting network settings or maybe even factory reset.

I was told by a telus CR to contact you guys that there might be a way for me to set up the public mobile configuration manually on a Iphone 6s

Hi @tjbrime,
This is looking like your phone is still locked to your previous network carrier. Simply call/chat them up with the IMEI number to unlock it for you, unlocking is now free.

Your wording is a little confusing. Did the store do the activation? Or did you simply buy the SIM and leave?
If the former then all you need to do is set up your self-serve account.
If the latter then is the phone locked to a previous provider?
Is it on any stolen blacklist? This'll check for that.
