Hello,
My mom already had a plan with public mobile. She then heard about the new subscription plans that are 29$/mo with a lot of data and the one I wanted which was $23/mo with 6 G data. When she goes to her "change subscription" page on the Public Mobile website it shows her these options. When I logged in and went to the same page, I did not see those options. When I try through the "shop" button on the very bottom of the "overview" page, I see the $23/mo subscription, but when I click it it tells me I "already have an active subscription" and must go to my add-ons (manage my subscription).
I would like to change my plan to the $23/mo one but I cannot. Please help me do it.
Thank you,
Kamila

if Mom had a lower cost plan to start...it's easy to upgrade to a more expensive plan...BUT... what they don't tell you is that if you try to downgrade to a cheaper plan than what you have, you likely won't be able to find a substantially cheaper plan.
If you don't mind taking a new number, just get a new Public Mobile sim or esim (for free), then start a new plan at the price point that's available when you activate. You will need a different email address though. Alternative...just keep watching and hoping that PM reverses it's course and allows us to buy whatever plan that best suits us when we want....but for now, you're trapped with the plan you have, for now.

Are you saying that your Mom got the new plan, and you can't?

She will have to be a new member.
Unfortunately, she will need to port out to another carrier then port back. So much hassle to do that.
Just monitor her account and it maybe added during Boxing Day deals.

It's not listed, so I guess I am not qualified. What does it take to be qualified?

@Kamila92 You can only change to plans that you see available in the app. PM has made it near impossible to downgrade to cheaper plans.

You will need to go to the Subscription tab>Manage Subscription>Change Subscription. It will list all the plans she is eligible for. If it is not listed then she doesn’t qualify but if it is listed. Just change on her NEXT RENEWAL DATE so she won’t be charged for her existing plan and the new plan if she clicks on NOW because no credit for unused days on her old plan.
