Hello to all that have either ported in a day ago or just now,
If you read this, please don't start another post just use this as a guideline. Okay so I have been reading a lot of repttive post asking what to do with porting issues such as not able to recieve calls, text, use data. Your probably in the same trouble as I am where you have a porting glitch from what I have read and therefore your phone is currently in limbo and cannot be used. Don't panic though, its okay, just message one of the MOD asap, give them your PM phone number, Name (full), PM sim card number, and your freedom mobile account number. Tell them that you can't or not able to receive call, use data...etc. hopefully a mod sees this a get back to you asap and fix the issue. Currently I am not able to use my phone for over 24+ hours but not going to be fustrated because these mods are just too busy and you will have to wait thats what happens when you sign up with PM with no customer service (you knew this going in or else you wouldnt have signed up, right). Please dont complain and say you regret it after no less than 1 day after port. You pay what you get, enjoy and have a positive mindset things will eventually work out for all of us.
goodluck all
P.S here are some MODs for you to private message @Shazia_K @Mary_M @MarieHelene_L @Simon_O, just click on one of these people and on the right hand screen you should see a "send private message" buttom.

@lammer03 for you it might be ok but my work as well my family with 3 kids use this as the most important communication line though. I ported on the 21st this month i have no phone no service and only my laptop to hook up on here. So how do you think i feel after 4 days without it though almost missed my daugthers graduation because of no data for the map. I am not ripping on you i just blow up right now since i have to do everthing with my laptop and dont know what is going on at work. other than that you right dont get to frustradet just think of a blue sunny sky and enjoy the time

And just a warning for anyone porting over from Freedom, something to keep in mind and perhaps I'll post something that can be stickied at some point.
Data speed: PM is LTE, if your phone has it. This we know. Some, like me, are tempted, and have (like me), have used Speed Test a couple (or more ) times.
While it's fun to see your new speeds, be aware that this plan is 12GB every 90 days and the speed tests expose your internet speeds, good or bad, for bad or good. In this case, they expose good speeds, but the results are not good. I was showing my friend (who is on Freedom) and I guess my location somehow got me the max LTE speed (100Mbps), so I burned through over 100MB in about 10 seconds or so. Not worth it. Impressive, yes, but waste of data.
Just throwing that in there....

@lammer03 welcome to PM, and for the positive attitude. once past initial hickups everyting will be fine.
just to add another suggestion if its a failed port you can often still use your old sim card until the port completes.

Duely noted @SD08

@lammer03, great post. You are among a select few who don't blow a gasket when things go wrong. The more helpless people get, the greater the rage. To add to your suggestion, folks having account issues should go straight to private messaging a moderator for help. No point in ranting on the public forum about account problems. For all non account issues, the public forum is the place to go to seek help.

Good advice, but for future reference, it's best not to tag the moderators unless you are calling for their help/attention. That will just add more entries to the help queue that mods have to check, increasing their workload during this busy period. You can simply link the KB article that lists the moderators: https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/Knowledge-Base/Updated-Contacting-our-Community-Moder...
The article includes a link explaining how to send private messages as well.
