I'm a new user but it's been four 4 hours since I activated and Facebook won't install. says oops something went wrong, try again later.

If both data / wifi give same error then it obviously is an app / phone issue

Is your phone an Android? Try clearing all cache.

I don't think it's a network issue. Try to install it on wifi and see what happens...
If this doesn't work, try to go back to factory settings on your new phone and then try again

You could try Facebook Lite. I use it and it works great. It's likely a phone issue.

If data is working, I don't see there being anything about Public Mobile that would prevent you from installing an app. Does it install if you switch to Wi-Fi?
