I’ve installed the eSIM into the phone using the IMEI and to my surprise it went to a different phone , now I have I have 1 phone with 2 numbers, so I deleted the eSIM , and my partner couldn’t have service anymore for days now , I’ve contacted support, while waiting is there anything I can troubleshoot ?

you should have kept the esim, then go to the phone 2 to install the PM app and buy esim there first, before deleting the original esim
now with the esim gone, you have to ask PM support agent to help. You can submit ticket by direct message:
