Suddenly, my phone shows emergency call only. I am with Public Mobile for over 2 years. Very happy customer. My account is active and fees are auto paid every month. I called my wife 2 hours ago and it was fine.
I tried to restart the phone, reposition the sim card, and set network to GSM only. Nothing worked. I put my sim card on my wife's phone and the other way around. It seems like my sim card is having problem. BTW, my wife is on Public Mobile as well and her sim card works just fine on my phone...
Anything else I can try? Any help is appreciated.

You should not set your phone to GSM(2G) only because PM does not support GSM. Only Rogers network in Canada support GSM(2G).
You should configure your phone to auto 3G and LTE so that your phone will switch back and forth depending the signal strength between the 3G and LTE at your location. Also, PM uses 3G signal for voice calls.

Hi @Nandou
Pleaselogin to your account and check if your account is active
If not try to locate reactivate account add manually funds for the plan payment, v you will need to restart the phone
If yes then please check if your sim matches the sim in your account.
If not, please change your password, security question and misspell your name, contact moderators to revert the sim
If yes, please reach out to moderators

@Nandou try the lost stolen trick to reset your service. From your self service account enable the lost/ stolen feature log out, wait 5 minutes, log in and take it off. Log out and restart your phone.
If this fails contact the moderators and ask them to reset your service for you. There are 2 ways to contact the Moderator Team:
Once connected to Simon, you will be asked to log in again with your community user name and password. Please do, this allows you to continue and send your message.
- Check your private message sent box (click on the envelope top right of your screen) to make sure the message was sent.
- Keep an eye on the envelope top right of your screen. The mods answer will show up there. When it does, you will be asked to verify your self service account, with your password and login. Doing so allows the process to continue. Stay safe.
