Phones need to support 3G HSPA/UMTS at 850MHz and 1900MHz to get any phone or text functionality, so this phone is completely incompatible with the Public Mobile network.  Of the LTE bands listed, PM does use band 7 in some areas for increased coverage but the core LTE band you really want is band 4, which is used everywhere that LTE coverage is available at all.  None of the other bands listed for the phone are in use by PM at all, to the best of my knowledge.

@geogolem FYI: PM does not support 2G only 3G & LTE. Many "world" and GSM phones operate on 2G; some only on that protocol. So even though they have the correct frequencies they won't operate on PM.

Hi @littlegirl85rj;

The website http://willmyphonework.net/ reports that this phone is compatible with PM in 4G (LTE) but not compatible in 3G (GSM, HSPA+). As such, for best coverage I would avoid it.

From the link you provided:

Support 2G network: GSM 850(B5)/900(B8)/1800(B3)/1900(B2) MHz
Support 3G network: WCDMA 900/2100 MHz
Support 4G network: FDD-LTE: band 1/3/7/20 (800/1800/2100/2600MHz)

Referring to this wikipedia page: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Telus_Mobility#Radio_frequency_summary

As long as the phone is not locked to a specific carrier other than Telus/Koodo it should work fine. Based on what I read of the page the phone is unlocked. So I dont think you will have any issues.
