How do I deactivate an account for a deceased person? I can’t access their account.

A while back, Public Mobile very confusingly decided to use a non-standard use of the word "subscription".  In Public Mobile terminology, "subscription" doesn't mean a plan subscription.  It only refers to a subscription to autopay.  Disabling the "subscription" doesn't turn your service off.  It's only disables autoamtic charges to your credit card.  Your service will continue to work for the remainder of the current billing/plan cycle (and will even continue to work after that if there are already enough funds in your Public Mobile account balance for renewal).

sorry for your loss

if you can login the My Account, best to do so by logging in My Account, go to Payment, choose Manage Subscription and then toggle off Subscribed

if you cannot login My Account, you can either canceled the credit card that was used to make the payment, or at least call the card to reverse the last PM payment.
