Data use

Hello,

I have a 8GB Canada wide data plan.  I am travelling to USA in the next couple of days and i am not sure what i need to do to use data in the states, I am just going for three days and not planning to use a lot.  Do I have to purchase an add-on? if so which one?

log in to your Public Mobile account and see if you have at least 20 Reward Points. If you have 20 Points or more, you can redeem them for the 15 Day US talk/text/data add-on bundle.

if you only need data for a short 3 day trip to USA, consider downloading the airalo app to your cell and buying a 3 day USA data esim for less than $20.

I do not see "US roaming data only add-on" option

That gives you only talk and text, not data.  Do you need data?

@Dp66 your Canada data can only be used in Canadayou can buy US roaming Data addon.  

Login My Account -> Subscription & Add-on and choose it US roaming data only add-on , or US roaming Bundle (data + voice and text).  Choose the amount you need.  But roaming data has an expiration of 15 or 30 days and it kicks in immediately , so buy right before your trip
