Why do I keep getting messages sent to me every month that I'm at 75% usage, when on the app it says I'm at 50%???

Sometimes the texts are send in error. However, the usage on the app does not show "live" updates of data usage. It usually updates once a day early in the morning. For my account, the data usage is report after midnight and it reports the whole data usage for that day at that time point.
It is possible the you have used up 75% during the day, but it won't update in usage until the next morning.

@Greg20 Where do the messages come from, could they be pop-ups from your phone data limiter?
