I just moved my LG G5 over from Koodo and everything worked there. Voice and Text are fine. Wifi is fine. Just data is a problem.
Mobile data is on
apn was updated : (sp.mb.com etc)
mobile networks set to: gsm/wcdma/lte auto
LG network reset done
device restarted
Any suggestions?
Thanks

Hi All,
Thanks all for the quick response. Looks like the LG G5 needs a factory reset for data to start working. 😞

If network reset does not work then factory reset is needed . From what I remember the factory resets we're needed more often than not with lgs. Ofcourse do every other option first.

Ensure you have the correct APN settings by visiting https://apn-canada.gishan.net/. Select the brand and model of your phone, scroll down the page and then select Public Mobile. After doing so, you will be provided with the exact APNs required for your phone on our network.
According to website, you will might need to do a factory reset:

I think network reset is sufficient. Factory reset would be like hitting a fly with a sledge hammer.

You need to do a network reset for your LG G5 after changing provider even you are on the same network with different provider.
Please do not perform factory reset as factory reset delete everything. Network reset only clear the network related parameters. Your LG G5 will work right away after network reset without setting up your account, contacts etc again.
