Changed devices sim doesn't work in new device

@Heatherlaboss I doubt there are much you can do if you got from Kijiji.  The most Kijiji will do would be to ban the seller but they won't provide refund. 

of course you can try to contact the seller but we all know of it will work.

I guess you have to be more careful and buy it from trusted source next time

There isn't a lot you can do but try to get a refund from the seller for the price you paid for the phone. You're going to need to buy a new one.

I had an iphone and bought a Google pixel 2xl I don't have the other device to see if the sim works no other active sim

@Heatherlaboss  does the sim still work on the old device?  where you got your new phone from?  from trusted source?  check if the phone is blacklisted,  just in case:

also, if you have another active SIM, put it in to confirm the phone works
