Moderator wait time is 48 - 72 hours.  You should get your reply soon.

Indeed. That post I linked worked for someone else not long ago.

Another trick is to try adding $1 to your account then restart the phone.

Are you using the default text messenger?

While we're playing around with all this maybe you should get in the moderator queue.

Send ONE (1) private message to them here and include your phone number and PIN to minimize back and forth identity verification delays.
Forget your PIN? Then you'll need 3 of either of these pieces of information you used when you signed up: full address, birthdate, last 4 digits of CC you might have used, email address on the account, alternative phone number you might've entered when you signed up. Or, in addition, either of these to get to 3: last payment amount and date, last add-on bought and date.
And of course your question/problem.
Then hopefully they will get back to you as soon as they can between M-F 9-9 (ET) and Sat-Sun 9-7:30 (ET). But it could be up to a couple days.
Depending on your notification settings, you would get an email notifying you of a reply. Get back here and see a red blob over the little envelope in the upper right of your screen and click on it to see the message.

Try a different texting app, like Android messages or Textra.

Have you done a network reset? Less invasive than a factory reset which would be my last resort after backing everything up)

@Lilbriwn870Take your sim card out and stick it in your step dads phone, then send a message to yourself using your step dads phone.

If while using his phone (but with your sim) you receive the message on his phone (with your sim card still in it) we will at least be able to identify if the issue is with your phone software/hardware, or your plan/account.

@RobertQcI was able to text on the 28th but not now since I renewed my plan.

@Lilbriwn870Try this lost/stolen trick, it seems to fix most problems and let me know.

1.  Report your phone lost/stolen in the self service account and logout.  Wait 5-10 minutes.  Re-login and report phone found.  Reboot your phone.  This seems to reset your SIM card and hopefully activates your plan/account.

@RobertQc I got an LG g5. And my text say they sent on the phone but do not actually send. And when someone text me it says it sends but it don't. Nothing comes up in self serve either. My calls Di. But that's it. I was able to text on the 28th but not now since I renewed my plan. Screenshot_2018-11-30-23-17-05.png

@Lilbriwn870What kind of phone do you have? Does it say "unable to send message" or is there a picture of a "!"? What is the error code?

@RobertQc I can't do neither.

@Lilbriwn870Sorry you are having trouble, Can you send a text message to yourself, then send a seperate message with an attached picture. Let me know if either of those sent or are received by you. This will at least let us know if the problem is with either MMS or SMS, as those are 2 different totally things, and we can work on a solution based on the outcome.

@Lilbriwn870Does both SMS and MMS not work? How do you know it doesn't work? Does the party not receive your text or does it fail to send? Do you see the message in your self serve usage history?
