I realized I stopped receiving text messages after I switched to public mobile (getting app login authentification, even ads). However only when I texted my friends, there was no problems receiving theirs. I just don't know what part was wrong. I checked the blocked list and there was nothing either.

Did you reply to the text from your old carrier confirming you are porting your old number over to PM? You need to leave your old SIM in your phone to confirm to the text. There is a 90 minute window for you to reply.
If you didn’t reply then you need to contact a CS_Agent to restart the porting process.
If you did reply then reboot your phone by powering off and wait 2 minutes then power the phone back on.

Hi, thank you for replying! Yes, I am able to text/receive my friends' text messages, but I am unable to receive messages from some apps or services (like CRA) which is confusing. I transferred my number almost 20 days ago, is the transferring process taking that long..?

@kejiayantc hi are saying texts work but your not receiving otp,s ? that is common for a few days after a transfer to another provider,it is a security protection it should start working in a few days
