Hello!
I ordered and received a new eSIM for my new phone. On my old iPhone, I see the eSIM on the app and here on the website but I can’t instal it in my new Samsung. The QR code is not scanning and I can’t proceed with my new Samsung until there is a sim in it. I’m stuck on the first few setting of language and wifi but can’t skip the sim/esim part. How do I get and activation code for my new eSIM that I can put manually or get a QR code that my Samsung will scan?

That what I don’t like about the new Samsung phones during the activation stage of the phone. Good thing I still have a SIM from my old phone to activate the new Samsung phone.
This is the reason I prefer the iPhone 16 over the new iPhone 17. The iPhone 17 in Canada is now eSIM only while the iPhone 16 has both.

Hi,
For new samsung phones, you MUST activate it first with a physical SIM card. You cannot use esim.
Borrow any card from a friend to get pass this process first.
Once that's done, you can use wifi to download the Public Mobile App and purchase eSIM.
