I'm getting this error message: The phone number entered is invalid or you may have created your profile already. If you've forgotten your password, please click here.
Do I need to activate a SIM and/or port my number before I can create an account?

@beef When you activate the sim, you will create that self-serve account as its part of the step. I recommend you to select new number first and then when you verify everything is working, you can request to port in your number.

You need to have activated your sim to be able to open an account.
First thing it asks you for is your phone number, have to put that in.
