Phone is an LG XPower. Phone works fine for calls and text as lon as there is no picture in the text. I followed apn setting instructions from the help bot but to no avail. Anyone got any suggestions? Is there a place to take the phone to make sure all of the settings are correct. This phone was on Telus previously and their people unlocked it for me.

Thanks. I'll try that tomorrow. I really thought this would be easier.

Network reset to clear the setting for the WiFi passcode and mobile data APN to their default.

If your phone does not setup the APN after phone reboot, you need to update APN manually.

This would delete any custom entered APN settings, saved Wi-Fi networks and passwords, and few other things relating to connectivity.

@computergeek541  I thought he meant as in, what is involved to perform a network reset, but he probably meant more of what you said.

@Dekadaddy  Go to your network settings find network reset, click it, then click yes or ok

For LG phone, do a network reset.  Your data should be working after restart your LG phone.

Did you try to reset the APN settings to default?

In the APN settings menu sellect the 3 dots and  reset to default.

Then you may have to add a new Public Mobile APN entry.

@Dekadaddy If you correctly set the APN, try setting the APN type to default only. If that doesn't work, you might have to do network or factory reset as some LG phones requires. Make sure to back up everything if reset.
