I have a Realme 8 5G that has been working great for me on the public mobile network with one exception.
There are only a few people that I can send and receive text images from. Most people send me an image and I get a message to download it but it won't download. If I try to send an image to those people I get a failed to send message.
Has anyone experienced something like this and figured out how to fix it?
The fact that sending/receiving images from a few people works leaves me baked as to what the cause of the issue is.

For APN type, try changing it from default to default, mms (no space before or after the comma)

@Brhildebrandt : Right. BKNS27 will likely be right.
APN Type = default,mms
Add a comma and mms after default. No spaces. Lower case.
Edit: Might need some alteration to the last two at the bottom. But let's see what happens with ,mms.

@Brhildebrandt : The easiest for us would be if you could post screenshots of your currently active APN settings from top to bottom.

Do you mean set to a MMS APN instead of a Global APN?

Everything works on wifi or data except for sending images via text.
Not sure what you mean by RCS. The APN settings should be good. I have them set up as noted on Gishan.netI have been playing around with it a bit tonight and it appears that if I unselect an option to "only send SMS/MMS messages" then I can send images to other android phones (not iphones) when I have wifi but not on mobile data.
UPDATE - It appears I had a setting wrong and I can send images via mobile to other android users
In no instances can I send images to iphones

Check the APN type setting to see if it is on mms

@Brhildebrandt : Can you otherwise browse the internet with cell data (not wifi)? Do you have your texting app set to use RCS? I then also wonder about your APN settings.
