Hello, just thought I'd share my experience so far...
When I learned of the 4GB promo plan I decided to switch and contacted PM on Facebook for a solution because I'm still tied to a contract. I was provided with a useful solution which was to sign up for a 10 day texting plan for $11 without autopay and post date the plan change. Then let the texting plan expire and top up the account within 90 days. The following was PM's message to me:
"You could activate a $11 10-day text only plan, "future date" the $120 plan, and then let your plan expire (that is, don't put the $120 on your account on your next renewal date). Then, you could top up the $120 whenever you want (before a 90 day period) and activate the promo plan. However, it is important that your plan (and account) do not stay suspended for more than 90 days. When the account is suspended without a succesful plan renewal for 90 days, it automatically deactivates, and you lose your number, and your balance."
Now I've signed up and was able to successfully activate the SIM card with the texting plan, however, I can't change the plan because I don't have access to "My Account". The password I used doesn't work and I get this message: "Sorry, your login attempt failed. Please try again."
I tried the forgot your password option and I get a message saying an e-mail has been sent with instructions to reset my password but I haven't received an email and it's been a few hours ago. I tried the forgot your password option again and still no email.
I'm hoping someone can fix this before the plan expires tomorrow.

Well, it's 10 days later and the MODs have not read my private message but some did finally respond to my message on Facebook. They fixed my wife's account. She's been a customer for over 2 years but the service stopped working completely after her plan was supposed to switch on November 22nd.
