My husband forgot to renew before expire day(27th October), and he added 20 dollars on 30th. He thought if he add number 30th, then he could use phone... but even he added 20 dollars, He couldn't use his phone.
So, we asked to worker at London drug, and tried to reactive his phone number... he recommended about change plan, and so he added more money... we spend 10 dollars more. now his plan is 15 dollars one and in his account he have 15 dollars in there.
Funny thing is now he could use text, and receive phone call. but he can not call to anyone in his town. public mobile said like he call to "long distance". in 15 dollars plan, he can call to 100minutes canada wide talk. But he can not call even to me. 😞
I searched this community, and someone said about add number 1. so he tried like that but still didn't work. I feel so bad because 3days late for pay and get big headache now.

I think most customers have recieved that message. Usually it's once or twice. I've had it where it's lasted an hour or so and I can finally call out. Your husband's lasted much longer than usual. If this continues to happen on a regular basis then have the moderators get the tech team to look into the cause. Good to hear your husband can call out again. Thanks for the follow up.

I am not sure but maybe manager of public mobile did something for him or just need time...? Because very late last night my husband could call to me finally (took 6hours). so... I don't know what was the problem and how to solved it.

Keep in mind that even if you hear that message you should allow the message to finish to see if the call connects.
If you haven't heard from a moderator yet you could also try using the lost/stolen feature in your husband's account. This may reprovision the sim to allow outgoing calling. Log in. Report the phone lost (suspend.) Log out. Wait 1 min. Log in. Report found (resume.) Log out. Reboot phone. Try making a call.

Try restarting your husband's phone. Then try manually entering the 10 digit number you want to call. Does it work?

We just went to London drug and added 10 dollars more. my husband have enough minutes in his account but he can not call to anyone. and I talk about my husband account, not mine.

If he is out of minutes he can buy add-on, it's $5 for 500 minutes and they never expire until he uses it up.
If you enroll for autopay je should have also 250 megs of data.
Here is the trick to turn it into unlimited.
Signup for fongo and get a new free Canadian number with them.
Use fongo to call yourself.
Answer the call, it's incoming hence unlimited.
Hit transfer call button in fongo and transfer it to number you want to call
Fongo will disconnect and only your cell and the destination number are now connected.
You can talk as long as you want

It sounds like you now have the $15 plan which allows for 100 minutes of outgoing calls.
Please logon the self-account to see if any plan minutes are remaining.
If the 100 minutes were consumed, you may purchase a 500 minute Canada-wide calling add-on for $5.
If there is something wrong with the account, you will need to contact Moderators.
