Calls and text

Can only recieve calls. When try and make calls or text just get message that not connected to network. 

Phone recognizes my public mobile sim card

make sure you remove the sim card from your old carrier, if old one is esim, disable it

then Reset network settings and try.  And if physical sim, always good to test on another phone
