Calls and text messaging issue

I am not able to make calls and send messages but I have no trouble using Internet.

None of your suggestions work. I've been having the same problem and tried them all several times. Service comes back for a couple of minutes after a network reset, but goes back out. Very frustrating, as I'm paying for service I can't even use.

More details would be helpful.  New customer versus old.  

Did talk and text work before? 

A few basic trouble shooting advice:

reboot phone

network reset of phone (this will erase Wifi settings)

toggle airplane mode on, then off

maybe try the SIM card in another working phone.
