Hi there,
I just activated my new subscription with a physical SIM card and ported my number from Telus. Followed all the steps from the PM app and approved the port from my Telus service. When I insert the new PM SIM, my phone doesnt recognize it. Says "Please insert a SIM card to continue" if i go to my texting app. I tried repositioning the SIM, airplane mode, restarting my phone, resetting network settings, and gently wiping the SIM with a cloth. The old Telus SIM worked fine. Galaxy S25 phone. Can you please help?

@CS_Agent I also tried to put the SIM in a different phone. Same issue, phone says there is no SIM. Also, since I completed porting, 2FA in PM app doesnt work since code is sent to phone number which doesnt have service due to SIM issue.

Hi there, it is not new. Used with Telus for 9 months before trying to switch to PM today.

Is that a new Galaxy S25 phone that has never been used? If it is brand new , it needs a sim to set it up. Try a different sim, maybe an active sim, to set it up first
