Anyone know if PM phone number will work in France?

Have a child doing exchange in France for 2 months and looking at getting an esim for data but wondering if phone will still work in France on wifi. France has great mobile rates so might just get a French number and plan wondered if her phone might work there. Thanks.

@Mom23princesses PM service does not work outside of Canada, and the USA if you have a US plan or USA add on. Yoy will have to get a local sim or data sim and use a program like Textnow.
