First, not all phones work in the US. Check the Volte list here by entering your IMEI number.

If your phone is compatible, then go into your settings, carrier settings, remove automatic and choose either AT&T or Tmobile as those two are more favorable to work. Also, make sure data roaming is turned on. Once that is done, reboot the phone.
