Trying to activae/create an account-
Got the the very end as it was "processing" said generic error.
Funds were taken, cannot log into account say I do not exist
and re tried to active sim, says in valid.
Sent a message two days ago to a Mod nothing heard back yet 😞

I have the exact same issue as you:
Yesterday I went through activation, hit the activate service button... thennnn Generic Error message!
My credit card has been charged but SIM still not active
I did message mods, waiting on reply as well.

No the sim card dosent register at all 😞

@jcbryantIf you have gotten to the very end of the process, have you try and put the SIM card into your phone and see if it gives you some partial service? If so, then try finish the process by going to selfserve and create your own account. The activation page starts a sequence of processes on Public Mobile's side, if things get interrupted by error it doesn't show which step it was stopped.. so hopefully you SIM got activated but the selfserve account didn't get created.

Man it's tough to keep up with how rapidly people respond on here, I can say one thing and there's like a three page thread by the time I actually respond and it looks like gibberish.

Well in that case contact the @CS_Agent and give them 48-72 hours to respond to your query.

Re start the process on another browser such as Microsoft edge or Firefox, I personally used edge when I got this error, also you'll need to give the system a bit to release your sim and allow you to try again, welcome and I hope you enjoy this service when you get up and running.

@jcbryant check your credit card to see if public mobile charged anything to it and if they did try your sim in your phone. If they didn't charge anything wait an hour and try activating your sim again

I'm in the same boat. I got right to the very end of the activation process, but then encountered a "generic error". I can't start again because the SIM card number is now "invalid" (presumably it's no longer on the list of numbers awaiting activation?) and I can't even log into my account because it doesn't apperar to have been created (user id and password are not accepted).
This is definitely not an impressive introduction to PublicMobile. 😞
Can anybody give me some idea of just how long I can expect to wait before a moderator rides to the rescue?

@Terrilyn1990 Unfortunately, you are going to have to wait for the moderator to respond. In the meantime, Clear your browser's cache, make sure cookies and Javascript are enabled and try activating again.

@Terrilyn1990 Did you try the sim in your phone to see if the sim is active? If yes,
click here to register your selfserve account.
Otherwise wait for the moderator to respond shouldn't be too long.
