How can you actually get assistance from public mobile to activate your service. It has been three days since my service as been deactivated without reason and I have posted numerous messages on their chat messaging system. I get random responses every few hours without anyone actually understanding the problem. I don’t know if they can’t understand that i have a public mobile sim card that they sent me, or unable to read english. They keep telling me to buy a sim card or say my esim is not working.

The 2fa with email or voicemail has nothing no relationship with iPhone or not. It is a 2fa for PM account login. You can login then you can use the app to buy eSIM

I have had enough of them. Not worth the headache

This will not work on the iPhone app because it will only authenticate against a phone number and not an email address like in the messaging chat (browser) page.

You don't have to pay for all the sim, ask them to reimburse you, and they will

Yes, but even telling them the answers got me no where. Anyways I found the solution to them deactivating my SIM card was to pay another e-sim charge (total now 2 esims + 1 physical sim) and activate on my phone to get my original service back. I will move off of public mobile the next time rogers calls me with an offer again. This was too nerve racking.

You can get 2FA another way. Click Didn't receive code or Resend code and choose Send email or voice message to get the code
If you cannot get the code still, reply PM and ask them to help with a new eSIM, they can send you an eSIM QR code

I have now tried to purchase a new e-sim but because it wants to authenticate me against my cell phone number and public mobile deactivated it, I can not even do that. UPDATE. Just managed to get a new eSIM by paying the $5.65 and will see if I can get it working with my number now

They have to ask questions "that are easily answered by looking at my profile and account" because they need to validate the legit account owner is talking to them
Reply them about the sim card and see what they say
And so, the account shows Active? Does the phone show SOS?

No, nothing is wrong with billing or credit etc. and they continue to charge me as recently as 3 days ago. They just disabled my service and the ticket I opened 3 days ago is randomly updated with questions that are easily answered by looking at my profile and account. The last message told me where to buy a SIM card even though I have one that they sold and sent me and was working until 3 days ago.

Any chance you called the bank for a chargeback on a transaction? If a PM charge was reversed on the credit card side, PM didn't get the money and will suspend the account
Did you login My Account and it shows suspended? Check Payment history, when was the last transaction?
And you opened ticket with PM?. If not, open one. Simply open ticket with PM using Expert Messaging. Click the Orange Chatbot icon on the lower right to start, or use this link https://expert-messaging.publicmobile.ca/guest/chat/
(Use your Community account to login. For 2FA, you might need to use email to receive if you cannot receive the text on the phone.)
PM will reply you via Expert Messaging between 9AM-10PM EST (Mon-Sun)
