@Pstone There are no overages with PM. Your data would end until after the next top-up, unless you purchase an add-on.

This is correct. Public Mobile is prepaid. So you will never be charge for any usage unless you purchase it first. This is also why all usage is tracked and reported instantaneously.

The front page counters are almost immediate. The detailed usage screens not so much.
Edit: you won't have data. No overage charges here. You can buy data add-ons to hold you over until your renewal. Or change to a higher data bucket plan immediately. Or do an early plan renewal with the help of the moderators.
There are no refunds or pro-rating here though.

@Pstone Minutes for airtime are fairly quick (like within a few minutes of the call). Data usage under detailed usage seems to not be as regular and seems to update end of day.

It's extremely quick. Unlike Rogers which can take 24 hours to update.
