Hello,

I am trying to set up a new account and I have gotten to payment option and it will not allow me to use my parents credit card. I do not have a credit card so this is the only way I can pay for it. Please let me know how I can resolve this issue. Thanks

no, I am pretty sure you need them match up for activation.

Not correct.

ONE credit card can be used to open and /or pay for multiple accounts (most likely unlimited number of accounts).

Customers have long been borrowing credit cards (with permission from the cardholder). The names do not need to match.

no, I am pretty sure you need them match up for activation.  But it is true when you update the credit card after, then you don't need it

if not, you will probably better to start another account , with another email and use your parent's name, the cardholder name and address.  No worries about using another name, but it has to match the card

The Public Mobile customer's name does not need to be the same as on the credit card.  Cardholder name and address (except for postal code) are not even part of the Public Mobile payment system and are not checked.

You can use a reloadable Visa CC that you can get from a supermarket or gas station.
