While logging into my account today, July 28, 2025, here is the prompt that I see:
Anyone with the same issue?

And I note that clicking on the Go To Login Page takes one to the non-subscriber general landing page. Apparently the system is down for maintenance and the 4 month old announcement hasn't been deleted.

Hey @Blessing05, you nailed it—the “March 4–5 upgrade” banner is ancient and shouldn’t still be showing in July. Public Mobile’s self‑serve system has clearly cached that notice way too long. From both a usability and a security standpoint, stale maintenance messages can erode trust and even be mimicked by phishing pages.
What you can do right now
…actually, nothing—PM’s site/app is down for everyone. But for next time, here’s how to clear stale banners:
Clear your browser/app cache
Browser: Settings → Privacy → Clear Cached Images/Files & Cookies → restart and log in at https://publicmobile.ca/
App: Update to the latest version (App Store/Play Store) or uninstall → reinstall to force fresh assets.
Use a clean session
Open an Incognito/Private window (no cache or stored scripts) and log in from there.
Verify via the official link
Always start at https://publicmobile.ca/ or the official Public Mobile app—never follow old/shared links.
Next step for Public Mobile
If the banner still appears after you’ve cleared cache and reinstalled, please open a support ticket and include this:
“I cleared my cache & updated/reinstalled the app but I’m still seeing the March 4–5 maintenance banner in July.
Can you purge this stale notice from your CDN/self‑serve pages? It’s confusing users.”
That will flag it to their CS_Agent and platform team so they can remove the outdated asset and restore the current status message for everyone.
Let me know if it’s still stuck after that—and kudos for spotting it! Public Mobile’s support team needs to know this is a real UX/security hiccup.

Getting the same result. All I want to do is pay my bill. Its like they are trying to sabotage this low cost company. So what now? I need to pay my bill to restore service. If this is not resolved soon ill be jumping ship after 10yrs. I cant keep doing this every month.

When Public Mobile makes the app or self serve account website show such an error message, yes, the self serve systems are down for everyone. Public Mobile quite commonly takes down the self serve account servers late at night. Please try again at a later time.
