I got a new phone recently, a BlackView BV9500. I made sure the bands were the same as the ones public mobile uses. I'm able to do calling from the phone, but mobile data isn't working. I looked into it, and I only have the two telus APNs TELUS.SP and TELUS.Services. Public Mobile's APN isn't turning up.
when I side-loaded editing in APN settings (using ADB shell, and an app designed for that), it brought up add a new APN, but all of the settings were grayed out, I couldn't edit them at all, adding or removing.
Is there any way other than rooting for the Public Mobile APN to be added?
I've made a few phone calls, so I know the phone works on Public Mobile, but when I try turning on Data, nothing turns on.
Thank you for your time

I've done a factory reset twice (unless factory resetting is different than resetting the configuration), and when I checked the phone's compatibility, it had every band public mobile used and more. Public Mobile is showing up everywhere except my APN settings.
