90 Day plan

I now save $4 per month with loyalty and referral rewards (old system).  How will that work if I switch to the $90 day plan.  Will I save $12, $4, or $0 each 90 day payment?

hi @wetcoaster

the $5 @BKNS27 mentioned could be the $5 discount from signing up the 90 days plan, they are generally $5 off per 30 days

But that would not show up as a credit in payment history - the plan cost is just a total of $15 lower than 3 x 30day plan cost.

I really think PM should make their wording / descriptions less confusing / ambiguous. But I'm not holding my breath.

You will get a $5 credit plus your $4 referral credit every 30 days.

So your total credit will be $27 (3 x $9) after 90 days.

Where is that $5 credit coming from? The OP talked about $4 rewards, which I understood to be the total of autopay, RAF and loyalty. They have not indicated from which plan to which plan they intend to change.

As mentioned by others, rewards are based on the previous plan cycle.

If they change to, say, the $102/90day/60GB plan payment history would look as follows:

- aftenoon before renewal: $4 added to available funds

- renewal night: $102 - available funds taken from card on file

- day 30: loyalty and RAF rewards ($2?) added to available funds

- day 60 loyalty and RAF rewards ($2?) added to available funds

- afternoon before renewal (day 90): autopay $2 x 3 = $6 added to available funds

- renewal night: $102 - available funds taken from card on file

* Community rewards, if applicable are added to available funds as they are handed out

* While you get 3x rewards over the 90day cycle, if you buy add-ons from available funds before renewal, the rewards will be used for that.

* Be aware that the payment prediction page is not programmed properly for 90 day plans - once the mid cycle rewards are credited the prediction is off by that amount. To ensure uninterupted service if you are buying vouchers / add funds manually, top up with plan cost minus available funds and ignore the additional phantom credits listed in the payment prediction.

As mentioned, you will get 3X (ie. $12) rewards every 90 days.  However, with the first payment of 90 days, you will only get 1X rewards (ie. $4).  Rewards are based on the previous payment cycle.

You will save $12 on the 90 day plan @SarMa

Just make certain not to switch to the Public Points system and your legacy rewards will remain when changing plans.
