I have LG V20 too. Please remember to turn off the following: From a Home screen, navigate: Settings > Network & internet . Tap the Limit mobiledata usage switch to turn off . Otherwise, you will get lock on data limit.

Make sure you have data can be use on your plan. Otherwise, you need to pay for every SMS with photo download fee.

If you have 1GB data for use, you can set the limit lock on your cell phone. Please looks at your cell "setting > Mobile Data > usage"
