I activated my SIM today, but when I put the SIM in the phone, I have no service.

I checked the IMEI and got this message:Your device should work on our Network.Your device has not been reported as lost or stolen. When checking for compatability, my phone the LG-p500h is not listed.

I don't get any error message when I put the SIM card in the phone.

No, because I am unable to receive a text to set-up my self service.
