if it happens "sometime ", either the phone has problem or just your location has bad signal for Telus signal tower.

it is prepaid, then you can just do it online, stop the subscription. you can't delete your account.

it should has no problem as long as your phone support esim. for example, I have iPhone 13, I have 1 physical sim that with pm ,and esim with freedom. it will mark as primary number, and secondary or travel number for second one.
