More than nice. This is essential for those of us who are often in buildings with no coverage but where there is wifi. I'm otherwise satisfied with PM but if we don't get wifi calling soon I'll be moving.
It was rumoured to be coming by the end of this year, but that is looking highly unlikely at this point. PM has everything that I need from a carrier except for this feature so after eight years, I will be moving on.
The text app workarounds don’t really solve the issues since you can’t use your existing cell number. Telus and Koodo don’t offer nearly the same value. The closest provider to Public Mobile that offers Wi-Fi calling seems to be Freedom Mobile. If PM...
It's now fall 2024. Any updates on this? Wifi calling is now a deciding feature for me. If PM doesn't implement it by the end of this year I'll be switching to Freedom Mobile.
