it works on my friends phone perfectly fine but my phone refuses to detect it

it's unlocked I unlocked it with the code virign provided me

It's a virgin mobile lte sm-g386w, my old sim card works fine and the issue came up after I tried activating my phone on public mobiles website.

It's in the phone but my phone is stating that there is no sim card
