We are trying to change. Phones how do we transfer the phone number to the new phone

We have the Canada USA plan. We were in Utah yesterday and everything worked fine. We drove to Arizona today and have no service at all. could we have done something wrong to our phone. We have used this phone several times in Arizona with no problem...

I was told with the Canada USA plan that whether in Canada or the USA I had unlimited calling and texting etc. as long as I used either T-mobile or AT&T network while in the USA. Public mobile tried to sell me some gaming days that I should not need....
