As someone who has a lot of data usage, I myself am also in the free trial and used the 10GB. Can confirm I have the unlimited data throttled at 512kbps. It's very slow but messaging works like a charm!

Joined using these 15 free days. Enjoying it so far! Will probably stick around for the flexibility of prepaid as well as the sweet rewards program 
